Symptom
An agent writes from claude_code_sdk import query, ClaudeCodeOptions or import { query } from "@anthropic-ai/claude-code" for a programmatic agent. The claude-code-sdk PyPI package is frozen at 0.0.25 and its docs moved; the new APIs aren't in it.
Cause
The Claude Code SDK was renamed to the Claude Agent SDK (Python claude-agent-sdk 0.1.0 published 2025-09-28). Package names, the import module, and the Python options type changed.
