Symptom
Voice agents that connect with header OpenAI-Beta: realtime=v1 and model gpt-4o-realtime-preview / gpt-4o-mini-realtime-preview / gpt-4o-audio-preview stop working.
Cause
The Realtime API Beta was deprecated 2025-09-15 and removed 2026-05-12. The gpt-4o-realtime-preview*, gpt-4o-mini-realtime-preview, gpt-4o-audio-preview and gpt-4o-mini-audio-preview models were removed 2026-05-07. The GA interface has "a few key differences" from the beta.
