Symptom
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named '<x>' on Python 3.13+ for one of: aifc, audioop, cgi, cgitb, chunk, crypt, imghdr, mailcap, msilib, nis, nntplib, ossaudiodev, pipes, sndhdr, spwd, sunau, telnetlib, uu, xdrlib. Also gone: lib2to3/2to3, tkinter.tix, locale.resetlocale(), typing.io/typing.re.
Cause
Deprecated in 3.11, removed in Python 3.13 (2024-10-07). 3.12 is the last version that ships them.
Verify
python3.13 -c "import yourpkg" succeeds; grep -rnwE "import (pipes|crypt|audioop|uu|imghdr|cgi|telnetlib|nntplib|lib2to3)" src/ is empty.
