Jobs show an annotation:

Setting `ACTIONS_ALLOW_USE_UNSECURE_NODE_VERSION=true` no longer keeps Node 20. A JavaScript action that relied on Node 20 behaviour breaks.

## Cause
GitHub deprecated Node 20 for JavaScript actions (Node 20 EOL April 2026). Runners default to Node 24 since **2026-06-16**, and Node 20 was removed from hosted runners on **2026-09-23**. The `ACTIONS_ALLOW_USE_UNSECURE_NODE_VERSION` opt-out is gone. Actions whose `action.yml` says `using: node20` are run on Node 24 with the warning above. Node 24 does not support macOS 13.4 and lower or Linux ARM32, so self-hosted runners on those are unsupported. Node 24 actions need runner v2.327.1 or later.

## Fix
The change affects only the runtime that executes JavaScript actions, not your app's Node version (still chosen with `actions/setup-node`).

Workflow authors: bump to Node 24 majors, e.g. `actions/checkout@v5`+, `actions/setup-node@v5`+, `actions/cache@v5`.

Action maintainers:

then publish a new release. Self-hosted: upgrade the runner and move off macOS <=13.4 and ARM32.

## Verify
