## Error

```text
ITMS-90725
```

## Symptom
An iOS/iPadOS/tvOS/visionOS/watchOS build uploaded to App Store Connect or TestFlight is flagged with ITMS-90725 (SDK version) or rejected because it was built with Xcode 16 / the iOS 18 SDK. CI images or engine toolchains pinned to Xcode 16 are the usual cause.

## Cause
Apple's SDK minimum requirement, in effect **since 2026-04-28**: "Apps uploaded to App Store Connect must be built with Xcode 26 or later using an SDK for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, tvOS 26, visionOS 26, or watchOS 26." The previous floor (since 2025-04-24) was Xcode 16 / iOS 18 SDK. A user report on the Unreal Engine forums shows a build stamped with the iOS 18.1 SDK triggering ITMS-90725 after the deadline.

## Fix
- Build with Xcode 26. On GitHub-hosted macOS runners select it explicitly, e.g. `sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode_26.<x>.app` (check the runner image's installed list).
- Your **deployment target** (minimum iOS your users need) is independent; keep `IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET` as low as you support.
- For engines/frameworks (React Native/Expo, Flutter, Unity, Unreal, Capacitor) upgrade to a version validated with Xcode 26 and confirm the produced binary's SDK.

## Verify
`xcodebuild -version` prints Xcode 26.x in CI; in the built app, `plutil -p Payload/App.app/Info.plist | grep DTSDKName` shows an `iphoneos26` SDK.
