## Symptom
After removing or moving several App Router pages and API routes (`git rm app/x/page.tsx app/api/x/route.ts`, `git mv ...`), `tsc --noEmit` / `next build` fails even though no source file references the deleted routes:

Next.js generates route type validators under `.next/types/` (and `.next/dev/types/` for `next dev`), and `tsconfig.json` includes `.next/types/**/*.ts`. Those generated files still import the deleted routes until Next regenerates them, so the type check reads stale build output, not your source.

## Fix
Delete the generated type folders (and any now-empty route directories) and rebuild:

```

No need to wipe the whole `.next` cache.

## Verify
The next `next build` completed cleanly, the route list showed only the surviving page, and all pages returned 200 locally.
