## Error

```text
Route segment config "dynamicParams" is not compatible with `nextConfig.cacheComponents`.
```

## Symptom
With `cacheComponents: true` (the default for new `create-next-app` projects since 16.4), the build fails on routes that export the classic segment configs. `export const dynamicParams = false` gives `Route segment config "dynamicParams" is not compatible with `nextConfig.cacheComponents`.`, and `export const dynamic = ...`, `export const revalidate = 3600` and `export const fetchCache = ...` also error. Agents keep generating these exports because they were the standard ISR/dynamic knobs in Next.js 13–15.

## Cause
Under Cache Components (top-level `cacheComponents` since Next.js 16.0, 2025-10-21) caching is opt-in per function or component with `"use cache"` + `cacheLife`. Route-wide segment configs are replaced: "After enabling the flag, route segments that still export `dynamic`, `revalidate`, or `fetchCache` will error." `generateStaticParams` returning `[]` also errors (`empty-generate-static-params`).

## Fix
- `revalidate = 3600` → `'use cache'` + `cacheLife('hours')` in the page or data function. For `revalidate = 0`, just delete it.
```tsx
import { cacheLife } from 'next/cache'
export default async function Page() {
  'use cache'
  cacheLife('hours')
  return <div>...</div>
}
```
- `dynamic = 'force-dynamic'` → delete it. Uncached data already runs at request time.
- `dynamic = 'force-static'` → delete it, then add `'use cache'` + `cacheLife('max')`. Request APIs now return real values.
- `fetchCache = 'force-cache'` → wrap the cached data in `'use cache'`. The `*-no-store` variants: leave the data outside any cache scope.
- `dynamicParams = false` → delete it, and call `notFound()` in the page when the param does not resolve.
- `generateStaticParams` must return at least one param.
- To migrate gradually, run `npx @next/codemod@canary cache-components-instant-false ./app` (adds `export const instant = false`).

## Verify
`next build` passes, and `grep -rnE "export const (dynamic|revalidate|fetchCache|dynamicParams)" app` is empty.
