## Symptom
After bumping the web search tool from `web_search_20250305` to `web_search_20260209` or `web_search_20260318`, responses contain code execution blocks, or a request on a model without programmatic tool calling returns 400 telling you to set `allowed_callers`.

## Cause
Versions: `web_search_20250305` (basic), `web_search_20260209` (adds dynamic filtering: Claude writes code to filter results before they enter context), `web_search_20260318` (adds `response_inclusion`). On 20260209+ the `allowed_callers` default is `["code_execution_20260120"]` instead of `["direct"]`; the API provisions code execution automatically. Dynamic filtering needs Claude 4.6+ models. Google Cloud and Azure-hosted Foundry only offer the basic version; web search is not on Amazon Bedrock.

## Fix

Or keep dynamic filtering and add `"response_inclusion": "excluded"` to drop nested search result blocks from the response. Pass assistant content back unchanged on later turns: a missing or modified `encrypted_content` gives a 400 validation error. Use only one of `allowed_domains` / `blocked_domains` (both gives 400).

## Verify
Check `capabilities.server_tools.web_search.supported` in the Models API; `usage.server_tool_use.web_search_requests` counts searches ($10 / 1,000).
