## Symptom
A Postgres connection that worked on Prisma 6 (often a managed DB with a self-signed or private-CA certificate) fails after upgrading to Prisma 7 with:

Prisma ORM 7.0.0 (2025-11-19) connects through `node-pg` via `@prisma/adapter-pg` instead of the Rust query engine. The Rust engine ignored invalid certificates; node-pg validates them, so an untrusted cert now fails the connection (tracked in prisma/prisma#28795).

Preferred — trust the CA:
