## Symptom
The classic pattern of creating a Checkout Session on the server, returning `session.id`, then calling `stripe.redirectToCheckout({ sessionId })` in the browser fails. On `@stripe/stripe-js` v8+, TypeScript reports that `redirectToCheckout` doesn't exist.

## Cause
Stripe's Clover release (2025-09-30) removed `stripe.redirectToCheckout` from Stripe.js, for both client-only and client-and-server integrations. `@stripe/stripe-js` v8.0.0 (2025-10-01) shipped "[breaking] Remove types for `redirectToCheckout`".

## Fix
Return the session URL from the server and do a normal redirect:

Clicking checkout lands on `checkout.stripe.com/c/pay/cs_...`. `grep -rn redirectToCheckout` should be empty.
