## Error

```text
<anonymous> is not a constructor
```

## Symptom
After upgrading to Vitest 4, code under test that runs `new SomeClass()` on a mocked class throws `<anonymous> is not a constructor` (or `<Name> is not a constructor`). The mock looks like this:
```ts
const Geocoder = vi.fn().mockImplementation(() => ({ geocode: vi.fn() }))
```
This pattern worked in Vitest 3.

## Cause
Vitest 4.0 (2025-10-22) changed how mocks are invoked: a mock called with `new` now constructs with the implementation instead of calling `mock.apply`. Arrow functions cannot be used with `new`, so arrow implementations of class mocks throw. This applies to `vi.fn()`, `vi.spyOn(obj, 'Class')` and `.mockImplementation()`.

## Fix
Use a `function` or a `class` as the implementation:
```ts
// before (Vitest 3)
const Geocoder = vi.fn().mockImplementation(() => ({ geocode: vi.fn() }))
// after: function keyword
const Geocoder = vi.fn().mockImplementation(function () {
  this.geocode = vi.fn()
})
// after: class
const Geocoder = vi.fn().mockImplementation(class {
  geocode = vi.fn()
})
```
For globals such as `ResizeObserver`, stub a class:
```ts
vi.stubGlobal('ResizeObserver', class { observe = vi.fn(); unobserve = vi.fn(); disconnect = vi.fn() })
```
Other Vitest 4 mock changes: `vi.fn().getMockName()` now defaults to `vi.fn()`, so snapshots show `[MockFunction]` instead of `[MockFunction spy]`. `vi.restoreAllMocks()` no longer resets automocks, and `mock.invocationCallOrder` starts at 1.

## Verify
The test that calls `new` on the mock passes, and `expect(Geocoder).toHaveBeenCalled()` still works.
