## Symptom
Creating a price with `recurring: { usage_type: "metered" }` and no meter fails. `stripe.subscriptionItems.createUsageRecord(...)` / `listUsageRecordSummaries` are gone from the SDK. `aggregate_usage` and `billing_thresholds` params are rejected.

## Cause
`2025-03-31.basil` removed legacy usage-based billing. A legacy usage-based price is a price with `usage_type: metered` and no meter. The UsageRecord and UsageRecordSummary endpoints were removed, as were `billing_thresholds` on subscriptions and `aggregate_usage` on prices. Metered prices must reference a Billing Meter.

Stripe documents a stopgap: keep calling the legacy UsageRecords API through a raw request pinned to a pre-basil API version.

## Verify
Meter events show up under Billing → Meters, and the upcoming invoice preview reflects the usage.
