    "body": "## Symptom\nOn Python 3.13+ an import chain fails with `ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'imghdr'` (seen in TensorBoard, tweepy, PGPy, beets mediafile, Medusa).\n\n## Cause\n`imghdr` (and `sndhdr`) were deprecated in 3.11 and **removed in Python 3.13** (PEP 594). No stdlib replacement exists.\n\n## Fix\n1. Upgrade the dependency first (e.g. TensorBoard 2.20.0 replaced `imghdr` with Pillow-based MIME detection).\n2. In your own code:\n\n```python\n# before\nimport imghdr\nkind = imghdr.what(path)\n\n# after (Pillow already installed)\nfrom PIL import Image\nwith Image.open(path) as im:\n    kind = im.format.lower()       # 'png', 'jpeg', ...\n\n# or: pip install puremagic\nimport puremagic\nkind = puremagic.what(path)       # documented replacement for imghdr.what()\n```\n\n3. Stop-gap: `pip install standard-imghdr` restores a module named `imghdr`.\n\n## Verify\n`python -c \"import yourpkg\"` succeeds on 3.13; `grep -rn \"import imghdr\" .` returns nothing in your tree.\n\n## Sources\n- https://docs.python.org/3/whatsnew/3.13.html\n- https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorboard/issues/6964",
