    "body": "## Symptom\n`subscription.current_period_end` and `subscription.current_period_start` come back `undefined`. After upgrading `stripe` to v18+, TypeScript no longer has these properties on `Stripe.Subscription`. Code that shows \"renews on …\" or checks access expiry breaks.\n\n## Cause\nIn API version `2025-03-31.basil`, Stripe removed `current_period_start`/`current_period_end` from the Subscription object. They moved to each SubscriptionItem, because items can now have their own billing periods. stripe-node 18.0.0 (2025-04-01) pins `2025-03-31.basil`, so upgrading the SDK switches the API version for you.\n\n## Fix\n```diff\n- const end = subscription.current_period_end\n+ const end = subscription.items.data[0].current_period_end\n```\nWith several items, take the item you care about, or `Math.min(...subscription.items.data.map(i => i.current_period_end))`.
