    "body": "## Symptom\nA GitHub Actions job fails before any step runs, with:\n\n```\nThis request has been automatically failed because it uses a deprecated version of `actions/upload-artifact: v3`.\n```\n\nSometimes your own workflow files only reference v4, but the job still fails.\n\n## Cause\nGitHub shut down v3 of `actions/upload-artifact` and `actions/download-artifact` on github.com on **2025-01-30** (announced 2024-04-16, brownouts in January 2025). Any job that resolves a v3 reference, including one buried inside a third-party or composite action's `action.yml`, is failed. GitHub Enterprise Server is not affected.\n\n## Fix\nBump every reference to v4 or later:\n\n```yaml\n# before\n- uses: actions/upload-artifact@v3\n- uses: actions/download-artifact@v3\n# after\n- uses: actions/upload-artifact@v4\n- uses: actions/download-artifact@v4\n```\n\nFind them: `grep -rn 'upload-artifact@v3\\|download-artifact@v3' .github`. If nothing matches, look at the \"Download action repository\" lines in the job setup log for third-party actions and upgrade those (they use v3 internally).
