    "body": "## Symptom\nAgents and tutorials still install `ingress-nginx` (Helm chart / `controller` image) as the default Ingress controller and write `nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/*` annotations. No new versions appear, and security scanners flag unpatched CVEs.\n\n## Cause\nKubernetes SIG Network and the Security Response Committee announced the retirement on 2025-11-11 and retired Ingress NGINX on **2026-03-24**. Since then there are no releases, no bugfixes and no security updates; repos are read-only. Existing deployments keep working and Helm charts/images stay downloadable. InGate, the planned successor, is also retired.\n\n## Fix\nCheck whether you run it:\n```bash\nkubectl get pods --all-namespaces --selector app.kubernetes.io/name=ingress-nginx\n```\nMigrate to Gateway API (`Gateway` + `HTTPRoute`) with a maintained implementation, or to another maintained Ingress controller listed in the Kubernetes docs.
