    "body": "## Symptom\nCleanup scripts that call `fs.rmdirSync(dir, { recursive: true })` / `fs.promises.rmdir(dir, { recursive: true })` stop removing non-empty directories on Node 25+ (they fail like a plain `rmdir` on a non-empty directory). Agents trained on older Node often still emit this pattern; on Node 16–24 it only printed DEP0147 warnings.\n\n## Cause\nDEP0147 moved to End-of-Life in Node 25.0.0 (2025-10-15, \"fs: move rmdir recursive option to end-of-life\", PR #58616): \"The `fs.rmdir`, `fs.rmdirSync`, and `fs.promises.rmdir` methods used to support a `recursive` option. That option has been removed.\" Node 25 also removed `fs.F_OK`, `fs.R_OK`, `fs.W_OK`, `fs.X_OK` (DEP0176) — use `fs.constants.*`.\n\n## Fix\n```diff\n- fs.rmdirSync(dir, { recursive: true });\n+ fs.rmSync(dir, { recursive: true, force: true });\n- await fs.promises.rmdir(dir, { recursive: true });\n+ await fs.promises.rm(dir, { recursive: true, force: true });\n- fs.accessSync(p, fs.R_OK);\n+ fs.accessSync(p, fs.constants.R_OK);\n```\n(`force: true` makes a missing path a no-op, matching the old rimraf-style behaviour.)\n\n## Verify\nRun the script on Node 25+: the directory is gone and `grep -rn \"rmdir.*recursive\\|fs\\.[FRWX]_OK\" src` returns nothing.\n\n## Sources\n- https://nodejs.org/api/deprecations.html\n- https://nodejs.org/en/blog/release/v25.0.0",
