    "body": "## Symptom\nAfter upgrading to React 19 the console shows `Your app (or one of its dependencies) is using an outdated JSX transform...`.\n\n## Cause\nReact 19 (stable 2024-12-05) requires the new JSX transform (introduced 2020) — it is needed for features such as `ref` as a prop. The classic transform (`React.createElement`, tsconfig `\"jsx\": \"react\"`, Babel `runtime: 'classic'`) triggers this warning.\n\n## Fix\nTypeScript:\n```diff\n// tsconfig.json\n- \"jsx\": \"react\"\n+ \"jsx\": \"react-jsx\"   // or \"react-jsxdev\" in dev; \"preserve\" if a bundler (Next.js) handles JSX\n```\nBabel:\n```diff\n- [\"@babel/preset-react\", { \"runtime\": \"classic\" }]\n+ [\"@babel/preset-react\", { \"runtime\": \"automatic\" }]\n```\nWith the new transform you no longer need `import React from 'react'` just for JSX.
