    "body": "## Symptom\nAn agent sets `NEXTAUTH_SECRET` and `NEXTAUTH_URL` and passes `clientId: process.env.GITHUB_ID` by hand in a v5 (Auth.js) project, following v4 tutorials.\n\n## Cause\nThe v5 migration guide says: \"All environment variables should be prefixed with `AUTH_`, `NEXTAUTH_` is no longer in use.\" `AUTH_SECRET` is the only variable that is really required. The host is inferred from request headers, so `AUTH_URL` is usually unnecessary. Provider credentials named `AUTH_{PROVIDER}_ID` / `AUTH_{PROVIDER}_SECRET` are picked up automatically. (The guide also says there are \"no breaking changes to the environment variables\".
