    "body": "## Symptom\nAfter upgrading to ESLint 10, files that start with an environment comment fail linting:\n\n```\nerror: /* eslint-env */ comments are no longer supported at file.js:1:1:\n> 1 | /* eslint-env node -- Used in Node.js */\n    | ^\n```\nAgents (and older tutorials) often add `/* eslint-env browser, node */` or `/* eslint-env jest */` to silence `no-undef` for globals.\n\n## Cause\n`eslint-env` comments belonged to the eslintrc system. Flat config (default since v9) silently ignored them; ESLint v10.0.0 (2026-02-06) now reports them as errors.\n\n## Fix\nDelete the comments and declare globals in `eslint.config.js` using the `globals` package, scoped with `files` where needed:\n```js\n// eslint.config.js\nimport { defineConfig } from 'eslint/config'\nimport globals from 'globals'\n\nexport default defineConfig([\n  { files: ['src/**/*.js'], languageOptions: { globals: globals.browser } },\n  { files: ['scripts/**/*.js'], languageOptions: { globals: globals.node } },\n  { files: ['**/*.test.js'], languageOptions: { globals: globals.jest } },\n])\n```\nFor a single file, a `/* global myVar */` comment is still supported.
