    "body": "## Symptom\nAn agent adds `content: ['./src/**/*.{js,ts,jsx,tsx}']` or `safelist: [...]` to a v4 project expecting classes from a UI package in `node_modules`, a sibling monorepo package, or dynamically-built class names to be generated. Nothing changes: classes used only in `node_modules/@acme/ui` or listed in `safelist` are missing from the output.\n\n## Cause\nTailwind CSS v4.0 (2025-01-22) detects sources automatically: it scans every file under the current working directory except `.gitignore`d files, `node_modules`, binary files, CSS files and lock files. There is no `content` array, and the JS-config `safelist` option is not supported in v4. Explicit control moved into CSS directives: `@source` (v4.0), and `@source not` / `@source inline()` (added in v4.1, 2025-04-03).\n\n## Fix\n```css\n@import \"tailwindcss\";\n\n/* scan a package that is ignored by default (node_modules) */\n@source \"../node_modules/@my-company/ui-lib\";\n\n/* skip a big directory that has no Tailwind classes (v4.1+) */\n@source not \"../src/components/legacy\";\n\n/* safelist replacement (v4.1+), supports brace expansion */\n@source inline(\"underline\");\n@source inline(\"{hover:,}bg-red-{100..900..100}\");\n```\nMonorepo where the build runs from the repo root: set the base path explicitly:\n```css\n@import \"tailwindcss\" source(\"../src\");\n```\nTo register every source by hand: `@import \"tailwindcss\" source(none);` followed by `@source` lines.\n\nDynamic names like `bg-${color}-600` are still never detected (files are scanned as plain text); map props to complete class strings instead.\n\n## Verify\nSearch the built CSS for a class that only appears in the added source (e.g. `grep -c 'bg-red-300' dist/assets/*.css`).\n\n## Sources\n- https://tailwindcss.com/docs/detecting-classes-in-source-files\n- https://tailwindcss.com/blog/tailwindcss-v4-1\n- https://tailwindcss.com/blog/tailwindcss-v4\n- https://tailwindcss.com/docs/upgrade-guide#using-a-javascript-config-file",
