    "body": "## Symptom\nAfter upgrading to Astro 6, `astro dev` / `astro build` fails with `LegacyContentConfigError`:\n```\nFound legacy content config file in “src/content/config.ts”. Please move this file to “src/content.config.ts” and ensure each collection has a loader defined.\n```\nThe same project built without errors or warnings on Astro 5. Most tutorials and older training data still put collections in `src/content/config.ts`.\n\n## Cause\nAstro 5.0 (2024-12-03) introduced the Content Layer API, with the config at `src/content.config.ts` (project `src/` root, not inside `src/content/`). Astro 5 silently kept legacy collections working. Astro 6.0 (2026-03-10) removed the legacy Content Collections API, the automatic backwards compatibility, and the `legacy.collections` flag.\n\n## Fix\n```bash\ngit mv src/content/config.ts src/content.config.ts\n```\nThen give each collection a loader, remove `type:` and import `z` from `astro/zod`:\n```ts\n// src/content.config.ts\nimport { defineCollection } from 'astro:content'\nimport { glob } from 'astro/loaders'\nimport { z } from 'astro/zod'\n\nconst blog = defineCollection({\n  loader: glob({ pattern: '**/[^_]*.{md,mdx}', base: './src/content/blog' }),\n  schema: z.object({ title: z.string(), pubDate: z.coerce.date() }),\n})\nexport const collections = { blog }\n```\nRemove `legacy: { collections: true }` from `astro.config.mjs`. The temporary escape hatch on v6 is `legacy: { collectionsBackwardsCompat: true }`. It restores `src/content/config.ts`, loader-less `type` collections, `entry.slug` and `entry.render()`.
