    "body": "## Symptom\nImporting a package (or your own code) on Python 3.13+ fails at import time:\n\n```\n  File \".../cherrypy/lib/httputil.py\", line 15\n    from cgi import parse_header\nModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'cgi'\n```\n\nThe failing import is often inside a dependency (CherryPy, bottle, requests_ftp, ete3, etc.), not your code.\n\n## Cause\n`cgi` and `cgitb` were deprecated in 3.11 and **removed in Python 3.13** (released 2024-10-07) as part of PEP 594 \"dead batteries\". 3.12 is the last version that ships them.\n\n## Fix\n1. Upgrade the dependency that imports `cgi` (most maintained projects removed it during 2024; e.g. CherryPy merged \"Stop using the cgi stdlib module\").\n2. If it is your code, replace per the official guidance:\n\n```python\n# before\nimport cgi\nform = cgi.FieldStorage()                 # GET/HEAD\nctype, params = cgi.parse_header(h)\n\n# after\nfrom urllib.parse import parse_qsl, parse_qs\npairs = parse_qsl(query_string)           # GET/HEAD\nfrom email.message import Message\nm = Message(); m['content-type'] = h\nctype, params = m.get_content_type(), dict(m.get_params()[1:])\n# POST/PUT multipart: use email.message or the `multipart` package from PyPI\n```\n\n3.
