    "body": "## Symptom\nAn agent tells the user to install `react@experimental` / `react@canary` to use `<ViewTransition>` or `addTransitionType` (as the April 2025 React Labs post instructed), or claims they don't exist in stable React. Conversely, on React <= 19.2 `import { ViewTransition } from 'react'` yields `undefined` (rendering it fails) because 19.2.0 stable does not export it.\n\n## Cause\nReact 19.3.0 (2026-09-09) made `<ViewTransition>` and Fragment Refs stable, added `addTransitionType` and `browser()` (react-dom) and allows `<Context>` to be rendered directly in Server Components. Verified on npm: `react@19.2.0` exports `Activity` and `useEffectEvent` but not `ViewTransition`; `react@19.3.0` exports `ViewTransition`. No React 20 exists as of October 2026.\n\n## Fix\n```bash\nnpm i react@^19.3 react-dom@^19.3\n```\n```js\nimport { ViewTransition, startTransition, addTransitionType } from 'react';\n\n{isShowing && (\n  <ViewTransition>\n    <Component />\n  </ViewTransition>\n)}\n\nfunction nextSlide() {\n  startTransition(() => {\n    addTransitionType('next');\n    setCurrentSlide((c) => c + 1);\n  });\n}\n```\nOpt a component out of SSR:\n```js\nimport { use } from 'react';\nimport { browser } from 'react-dom';\nfunction ClientOnly() { use(browser()); /* ... */ }\n```\n`<ViewTransition>` is DOM-only for now (not React Native).
