    "body": "## Symptom\nThe classic pattern of creating a Checkout Session on the server, returning `session.id`, then calling `stripe.redirectToCheckout({ sessionId })` in the browser fails. On `@stripe/stripe-js` v8+, TypeScript reports that `redirectToCheckout` doesn't exist.\n\n## Cause\nStripe's Clover release (2025-09-30) removed `stripe.redirectToCheckout` from Stripe.js, for both client-only and client-and-server integrations. `@stripe/stripe-js` v8.0.0 (2025-10-01) shipped \"[breaking] Remove types for `redirectToCheckout`\".\n\n## Fix\nReturn the session URL from the server and do a normal redirect:\n```ts\n// server\nconst session = await stripe.checkout.sessions.create({ mode: \"payment\", line_items, success_url, cancel_url })\nreturn Response.json({ url: session.url })\n```\n```diff\n- await stripe.redirectToCheckout({ sessionId })\n+ window.location.href = url\n```\nOr redirect server-side (`redirect(session.url!)` in a Server Action / 303 from a route handler).
