    "body": "## Symptom\nDrawings converted from DWG to DXF and rendered with a custom renderer showed garbage such as `\\U+5256\\U+9762`, `%%c20`, `{\\fSimSun|b0|i0;...}` and `\\P` instead of Chinese text, diameter signs and line breaks.\n\n## Cause\nDXF stores TEXT/MTEXT with AutoCAD's own escapes, which the renderer printed literally:\n- `\\U+XXXX`: a Unicode code point (common for CJK when the DXF codepage is ANSI)\n- `%%c` / `%%d` / `%%p`: diameter `Ø`, degree `°`, plus/minus `±` (`%%%` is a literal `%`)\n- MTEXT formatting: `\\P` = paragraph break, `\\~` = non-breaking space, `{...}` grouping, `\\f...;` font, `\\H...;` height, `\\W...;` width, `\\C...;` colour, `\\A...;` alignment, `\\L`/`\\l` underline on/off, `\\S a^b;` stacked fractions\n\n## Fix\n```js\nfunction decodeAcadText(s) {\n  return s\n    .replace(/\\\\U\\+([0-9A-Fa-f]{4})/g, (_, h) => String.fromCharCode(parseInt(h, 16)))\n    .replace(/%%[cC]/g, 'Ø').replace(/%%[dD]/g, '°').replace(/%%[pP]/g, '±').replace(/%%%/g, '%')\n    .replace(/\\\\P/g, '\\n').replace(/\\\\~/g, ' ')\n    .replace(/\\\\S([^;^#]*)[\\^#]([^;]*);/g, '$1/$2')\n    .replace(/\\\\[fFHWQACTp][^;]*;/g, '').replace(/\\\\[LlOoKk]/g, '')\n    .replace(/[{}]/g, '');\n}\n```\nRender with a font stack that has CJK glyphs (e.g. Noto Sans CJK) on the server.\n\n## Verify\nRe-rendered drawings showed proper Chinese titles, Ø/°/± symbols and line breaks. Previously cached PNGs were regenerated under new filenames, because the old URLs were served with immutable caching.\n\n## Notes\nezdxf users can call `MText.plain_text()` and `ezdxf.tools.text.plain_text()` instead of hand-rolling the regex.",
