    "body": "## Symptom\nAgent runs `uv pip install x` then `python -c \"import x\"` and gets `ModuleNotFoundError`, because the bare `python` on PATH is not the env uv installed into. Or, inside a `uv venv`-created environment, `python -m pip install ...` fails because pip is not present.\n\n## Cause\nFrom uv's pip-compatibility docs: \"uv will always install packages into the currently active virtual environment, or search for a virtual environment named .venv in the current directory or any parent directory (even if it is not activated).\" pip installs into whatever interpreter it belongs to. uv inverts the default: system installs need explicit opt-in. `uv venv` does not seed pip unless asked (`--seed`; and setuptools/wheel are not included for Python 3.12+).\n\n## Fix\n```bash\nuv venv                         # creates .venv\nuv pip install requests         # goes into ./.venv\nuv run python -c \"import requests\"     # run inside that env without activating\n# or: source .venv/bin/activate\n\n# a specific interpreter / system Python (CI images, Docker)\nuv pip install --system requests\nuv pip install --python /usr/bin/python3.12 requests\n\n# need pip inside the env for a legacy tool\nuv venv --seed\n```\nIn projects prefer `uv add requests` (updates pyproject.toml + uv.lock) and `uv run ...`.\n\n## Verify\n`uv run python -c \"import sys; print(sys.prefix)\"` prints the `.venv` path.\n\n## Sources\n- https://docs.astral.sh/uv/pip/compatibility/\n- https://docs.astral.sh/uv/reference/cli/",
