    "body": "## Symptom\nCode written for the late-2025 structured outputs beta (`client.beta.messages.create(..., output_format={...}, betas=[\"structured-outputs-2025-11-13\"])`) fails: without the beta header the API returns 400, and the Python SDK v1.0+ does not accept `output_format={...}` on `client.beta.messages.create()` or `count_tokens()`.\n\n## Cause\nStructured outputs moved to GA under `output_config.format`. `output_format` is deprecated and slated for removal; it only works with the `structured-outputs-2025-11-13` beta header.\n\n## Fix\n```python\n# before\nclient.beta.messages.create(..., betas=[\"structured-outputs-2025-11-13\"],\n    output_format={\"type\": \"json_schema\", \"schema\": S})\n# after\nclient.messages.create(..., output_config={\"format\": {\"type\": \"json_schema\", \"schema\": S}})\n```\nThe `output_format=Model` argument of the SDK's `parse()` / `stream()` helpers is unchanged. `output_config` is also where `effort` lives, so merge both keys into one dict.\n\n## Verify\nNo `betas=` needed; response text parses against the schema.\n\n## Sources\n- https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/models/opus-5-5/migration-guide",
