    "body": "## Symptom\nCode written for NumPy 1.x as `np.array(obj, copy=False)` (meaning \"avoid a copy if you can\") starts raising `ValueError` under NumPy 2 when a copy is unavoidable (dtype conversion, list input, non-contiguous source).
