    "body": "## Symptom\nAfter upgrading to Vitest 5, CI steps like `vitest run --reporter=json | jq ...` or `vitest --reporter=junit > report.xml` get empty input. The HTML report is no longer at `html/index.html`, and failure screenshots are no longer in `__screenshots__/`.\n\n## Cause\nVitest 5.0 (2026-09-03) moved generated artifacts into one `.vitest/` directory at the project root:\n- `json` reporter: stdout → `.vitest/json/output.json`\n- `junit` reporter: stdout → `.vitest/junit/output.xml`\n- `html` reporter: `html/index.html` → `.vitest/index.html`. Its option changed from `outputFile` to `outputDir`.\n- blob reports: `.vitest-reports/` → `.vitest/blob/`\n- failure screenshots: `__screenshots__/` → `.vitest/attachments/failure-screenshots/`\nAn explicit `outputFile` is still respected.\n\n## Fix\nRead the file, set an explicit path, or opt back into stdout:\n```bash\nvitest run --reporter=json --outputFile=report.json && jq . report.json\n```\n```ts\n// vitest.config.ts\nexport default defineConfig({\n  test: { reporters: [['json', { stdout: true }]] },\n})\n```\nAdd `.vitest` to `.gitignore` and update CI artifact upload paths.
