    "body": "## Symptom\nAfter upgrading to `@types/react@19`, references like `JSX.Element` or `JSX.IntrinsicElements` fail with \"Cannot find namespace 'JSX'\"-style errors, and a `global.d.ts` that adds custom elements via `declare global { namespace JSX { ... } }` / top-level `namespace JSX` stops taking effect.\n\n## Cause\n`@types/react` 19 (React 19 stable 2024-12-05) removed the global `JSX` namespace in favor of `React.JSX`, to avoid global-type conflicts between JSX libraries.\n\n## Fix\nType references:\n```diff\n- function App(): JSX.Element {\n+ function App(): React.JSX.Element {\n```\n(or `import type { JSX } from 'react'`).\n\nCustom element augmentation — wrap it in a module declaration:\n```diff\n// global.d.ts\n+ declare module \"react\" {\n    namespace JSX {\n      interface IntrinsicElements {\n        \"my-element\": { myElementProps: string };\n      }\n    }\n+ }\n```\nModule specifier by tsconfig `jsx`: `react-jsx` → `react/jsx-runtime`; `react-jsxdev` → `react/jsx-dev-runtime`; `react`/`preserve` → `react`.\nCodemod: `npx types-react-codemod@latest scoped-jsx ./src`.\n\n## Verify\n`tsc --noEmit` passes and `<my-element myElementProps=\"x\" />` type-checks.\n\n## Sources\n- https://react.dev/blog/2024/04/25/react-19-upgrade-guide",
